About BAR Labs
What is BAR Labs?
BAR Labs (Biological Age Reversal Labs) is a physician-managed longevity clinic in Boca Raton, Florida. We measure your biological age with epigenetic testing, build a protocol around the results, and retest to see what moved.
Where is BAR Labs located?
307 Via De Palmas, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM–2:00 PM.
Who oversees care at BAR Labs?
Every care plan is overseen by David Soria, M.D., a board-certified physician. He reviews each member’s epigenetic test results and prescribes and manages the protocols, in person or by Zoom.
What happens first?
Take the free quiz for your estimated biological age, then book a short Zoom review with our team to see your result and hear how the program works. If it’s a fit, you choose a membership and your first step is the epigenetic biological age test.
What does it cost?
BAR Labs is membership-based, with three tiers: BAR Core, BAR Black, and BAR Founders. Pricing depends on the tier and your protocol and is walked through on your Zoom review.
Does BAR Labs accept insurance?
BAR Labs is self-pay only. Membership and services are not billed to insurance.
How soon will I see my biological age change?
Biological age is measured, not guessed, so the answer comes from your retest. Most members retest every 8 to 12 weeks at the start, then quarterly once a protocol is stable.
Is BAR Labs a med spa?
No. A med spa sells treatments. BAR Labs tests before it treats, has a physician oversee every plan, and retests to verify the result.
What is biological age, and how is it different from my real age?
Chronological age is how long you have been alive. Biological age estimates how old your body is functioning at a cellular level, measured through DNA methylation patterns. Two people born in the same year can have biological ages a decade apart. Chronological age only moves in one direction. Biological age can move both ways, which is what BAR Labs measures and works to change.
Can biological age actually be reversed, or only slowed down?
Research shows epigenetic age scores can improve, not just slow. Studies on hyperbaric oxygen, lifestyle intervention and targeted supplementation have shown measurable reductions in methylation-based age markers. Whether a lower score reflects true whole-body rejuvenation is still being studied. At BAR Labs we measure what can be measured: your score, tracked over time, with protocols adjusted based on your response.
Epigenetic Biological Age Testing
How is biological age measured, and how accurate is epigenetic testing?
BAR Labs uses epigenetic biological age testing, which analyzes DNA methylation from a blood sample. These tests are highly reproducible for tracking change over time, which is their real strength. They are research and wellness tools rather than diagnostic medical tests, and no epigenetic clock diagnoses disease. The value is in the trend line across repeat tests, not one isolated score.
How often do I need to retest my biological age?
Most patients retest every 8 to 12 weeks at the start, then quarterly once a protocol is stable. Testing too frequently produces noise rather than signal, because methylation shifts take time to appear. BAR Core membership includes quarterly testing. BAR Black includes testing every 6 to 8 weeks when clinically appropriate.
Superhuman Protocol
What is the Superhuman Protocol, and why are magnetism, oxygen and light done in that order?
The Superhuman Protocol sequences three therapies in one session: PEMF, exercise with oxygen therapy, then red light. The order is deliberate. PEMF first supports circulation, so the oxygen that follows reaches tissue more effectively, and red light last supports mitochondrial energy production in newly oxygenated cells. Done separately these are three therapies. Done in sequence, each one is intended to amplify the next.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Is hyperbaric oxygen therapy safe, and what does a session feel like?
HBOT has a well established safety record when properly supervised. Most people feel only ear pressure during compression, similar to a plane descending, and then relax or nap for the session. It is not appropriate for everyone. Untreated collapsed lung, certain medications, and some ear and sinus conditions are contraindications. Every BAR Labs patient is screened by a physician before a first session.
How many HBOT sessions before I notice a difference?
Many patients report improved sleep, energy or recovery within the first several sessions. Cellular effects such as the telomere changes seen in published research were measured across multi-month protocols of repeated sessions, not single visits. HBOT works cumulatively, which is why it is built into a membership cadence rather than sold as a one-off.
Peptides, Bioregulators & Supplements
What are bioregulators, and how are they different from peptides?
Both are short chains of amino acids. Peptides generally signal a specific function such as repair, recovery or metabolic regulation. Bioregulators are ultra short peptides intended to act at the gene expression level within particular organ systems. At BAR Labs both are selected based on the organ system aging patterns that appear in your epigenetic report rather than from a standard list.
Do peptides require a prescription, and is a doctor involved?
Yes. Peptide protocols at BAR Labs are prescribed and overseen by David Soria, M.D., a board-certified physician, and sourced through licensed pharmacies. Some peptides are prescription only and some face compounding restrictions, which is exactly why this is physician managed rather than self directed. Dosing is adjusted based on your biomarker response rather than a fixed template.
Membership
Who is a good candidate for BAR Labs, and who is not?
BAR Labs fits people who want measurement and structure, and who will follow a protocol for months rather than weeks. It is a poor fit for anyone seeking a single treatment, a quick cosmetic result, or who is unwilling to test and retest. BAR Labs is also not a substitute for primary or acute medical care. Candidacy is determined at your longevity assessment.
